Three classrooms full of Washington sixth-graders received laptops Monday morning — each from a dignitary from Kenosha Unified, local government, the state Department of Education, the University of Wisconsin-Parkside or Apple Inc. — making Washington the first public school in the state to outfit each of its students with a portable computer.“I couldn’t think of a better school,” said Superintendent Scott Pierce, who pointed to Principal Beth Sabo’s dogged commitment to keeping Washington near the cutting edge of educational technology as the driving force behind what is now known as Washington’s 1:1 program — the ratio of laptops to kids.

Why I love Sam's Club

So I went shopping this past weekend, and I found several spring coats that I just LOVED, however the pricetag was just not in my budget: 200 is a little pricey for a spring coat in my opinion. Well I happened to go to Sam's Club yesterday in Racine, and found the same style coat for only 24 dollars! I should have bought 2 in different colors! Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne just announced that the 12th annual Ozzfest is going to be free this summer. One of those free shows will be in Chicago, but whether it will stop in Alpine Valley is yet to be confirmed.So who's paying for the event? Sponsors. Event passes will be available on Ozzfest's site or Livenation's site, which direct them to special sponsor sites where tickets can be had.Ozzy, who is releasing his first album in six years, is headlining again this year.
